The Foundation makes it free.
The Company makes it count.
Across Africa, millions of people can already do the work and have nothing that proves it. Employers hire blind, and good people go unhired. lrning closes that gap with free vocational courses written for one country and one job, a credential an employer can check, and a job board where the two meet.
The lrning Foundation pays for the free half. The lrning Co. runs the certification and the hiring half. Between them, somebody with no qualifications and a phone can end up in work

The Problem & Our Solution
- Most of the work in Africa is informal. The ILO puts it at 83 percent of all employment, and at 95 percent for people aged 15 to 24. Only 6.5 percent of young Africans have ever completed a vocational program, and in 13 countries the figure is under 1 percent. That is not a shortage of skill. It is a shortage of proof, and of any affordable route to getting it.
- Meanwhile the work is arriving. Over 10 million young people enter the African labor market every year, and current growth creates around 3 million formal jobs. Africa's green economy alone could add up to 3.3 million direct jobs by 2030, most of them in renewable energy and most of those in solar, and around 60 percent of them are skilled roles rather than laboring ones. Skilled roles are the ones that ask for proof.
- So we built the route. The course is free, and it is written for the country the lrner is standing in, with that country's codes, suppliers, prices, and licensing bodies in it. The assessment is open to anyone who finishes. The credential names what was tested rather than what was attended, and it is built to be checked. HireQi is where an employer finds the person holding it. None of that is charity. It is infrastructure, and we are building it now.
Only 6.5% of African youth complete vocational training
10-12M job seekers enter the labor force annually, but only ~3M formal jobs are created
By 2030, Africa's green economy could add 3.3M new jobs, many requiring certified skills
